Tunku Alizakri - Global Advisor Emerging Markets
Alizakri was the CEO of the Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia (EPF) managing USD250bn AUM and the 7th largest provident fund in the world. He has since served on 13 of Malaysia’s and the region’s most prominent companies such as IHH Healthcare (2nd largest healthcare provider globally), Malaysia Aviations Group (holding company of Malaysia Airlines), Petronas Dagangan (largest petrol stations and related retail products in the nation), Prudential BSN Takaful (Malaysia’s largest provider of Islamic insurance) and Sime Darby Plantations (largest plantations company in the world).
Alizakri has also chaired Malaysia’s 2 sovereign funds (MAVCAP and Penjana Kapital) tasked to build and grow the start-up and venture capital industry for the country. Currently he is the Chairman of the largest collectibles platform in Southeast Asia.
Alizakri is deeply passionate in the areas of sustainability where he led the creation of the first investments sustainability guidelines / policy for a provident fund in Asia during his time in the EPF. He currently serves as one of two independent trustees for Malaysia’s largest philanthropic foundation (Yayasan Hasanah) and also one of two independent advisors to and council member of the Royal Pahang Net Zero 2030 committee reporting directly to HRH Sultan of Pahang. He was also the founding advisor of Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Malaysia.
Alizakri is the founder, producer and actor (nominee as best supporting actor in 2016 Kakiseni awards) of Malaysia’s 15 years old multiple award winning and best musical repertory company known as PAN Productions.
Jean-Christophe Eloy - Global Advisor Semiconductor Markets
Jean-Christophe Eloy is the President and Founder of Yole Développement, a globally recognized leader in strategic and technological analysis in the semiconductor sector with activities in Europe, US, Asia and Southeast Asia including Malaysia. Before founding Yole, he held leadership roles at CEA-LETI, one of the most influential research institutes in advanced technologies. Jean-Christophe is also a board member of several strategic European initiatives related to semiconductors and advanced electronics. With his expertise, he has played a pivotal role in structuring complex ecosystems to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Jean-Christophe provides his expertise in sourcing projects, identifying technological differentiators, and understanding market needs. His role will also involve facilitating the adoption of technologies and designs developed in Malaysia to address global climate challenges.
Denis Viennot, Global Energy Low Carbon and Renewables Energy
Denis Viennot has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Project Finance, and International Development. As the co-founder of AltRaise, Denis supports companies in raising funds and deploying innovative projects. Previously, he was a Principal at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he led financing programs for clean and renewable energy projects in the MENA region. Denis also co-founded ReEnergise Group, an energy finance provider backed by institutional investors such as the Green Investment Bank (GIB).
In parallel, Denis has served on the steering committees of strategic projects, such as the SPREF Program, a $250 million fund dedicated to financing renewable energy in the MENA region. His notable achievements include:
- 120 MW Khalladi Wind Farm (Morocco): €56 million in project financing.
- Solar projects in Jordan (Al Manakher, Ma’an, EJRE): €162 million.
- Strategic acquisitions: Leveraged buyouts for Bridgepoint, AlpInvest, and Oak Hill Capital.
Denis plays a crucial role in mobilizing funding for clean and climate-focused solutions and structuring complex financial partnerships involving multiple stakeholders in South East Asia and beyond.
