Krishnavenee Krishnan brings over 20 years of experience in sustainable finance, investment management, and technology-driven innovation to her role as General Partner at The Hive Climate AI. Since joining in April 2024, she has been a key player in crafting and executing investment strategies aimed at addressing global challenges in climate and sustainability. Her expertise in navigating the intersection of finance, technology, and policy uniquely positions her to lead impactful initiatives in the climate tech ecosystem.
Krishnavenee’s career spans pivotal roles in both public and private sectors. During her tenure as Head of Strategic Innovation & Business Development at Bursa Malaysia, she spearheaded transformative initiatives, including the launch of Malaysia’s first voluntary carbon market (Bursa Carbon Exchange), a sharia-compliant gold trading platform (Bursa Gold Dinar), and an SME bond platform (BR Capital). Her collaboration with the UK government on the £149 million Sustainable Finance MOBILIST program further underscores her commitment to driving innovative and sustainable financial solutions.
She is recognized for her expertise in leveraging advanced technologies such as blockchain, AI, and cloud computing to modernize and innovate capital markets. At Bursa Malaysia, she led the development of multiple proof-of-concept (POC) projects, including blockchain-based digital bonds, ESG-focused AI platforms, and dematerialized warrant certificates. These projects exemplify her ability to integrate cutting-edge technologies into financial systems to enhance transparency, efficiency, and sustainability.
Krishnavenee has a proven track record in sourcing high-impact investment opportunities across Southeast Asia. Her deep understanding of regional market dynamics has enabled her to identify and support transformative ventures in sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and urban resilience. She is well-versed in guiding companies through strategic fundraising, pre-IPO strategies, and successful exits, ensuring value creation and long-term alignment with investment goals.
Her global perspective is further enriched by her academic background, holding an MPA from Harvard University, which has provided her with a robust network of thought leaders, policymakers, and industry experts. This connectivity allows her to forge strategic partnerships and bridge Southeast Asia with global ecosystems, creating opportunities for impactful collaboration.

Géraldine Andrieux Gustin is a seasoned expert in the venture investment ecosystem, specializing in deep tech, AI, and climate tech. With over a decade of experience, she has been instrumental in driving more than €1 billion in investments into transformative projects and startups such as Prophesee, Unseenlabs, Zapata Computing, Boydsense, and Circular.
Géraldine is widely recognized for her ability to support entrepreneurs in developing go-to-market strategies, scaling their businesses, and forging strategic partnerships. Her expertise is equally sought after by corporations—including Bosch, Trumpf, Samsung, Soitec, Philips, Sanofi, SEB, and Pfeiffer Vacuum—seeking to uncover and leverage innovation opportunities.
Trained as a biologist, Géraldine began her career in the semiconductor industry, working on high-impact strategic initiatives with leading corporations and research organizations. Her contributions to European Commission initiatives helped bridge the gap between research and commercialization, fostering private investment in Europe's startup ecosystem.
In 2014, she founded Blumorpho, a consultancy renowned for its ecosystemic and systemic approach to innovation. Under her leadership, Blumorpho has become a trusted partner in deep tech, semiconductor, and climate technologies, collaborating with entities like the European Commission, major research centers, and corporations. In the blue economy and climate tech, Blumorpho works closely with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and a network of leading financial institutions committed to achieving Net Zero goals. Each year, Blumorpho evaluates 1,500 to 2,000 startups, integrating the most promising into its innovation programs.
For the past two years, Géraldine has been actively contributing to The Hive Climate AI, where she applies her deep knowledge and network to co-create and scale impactful companies. Her extensive experience in Malaysia has enabled her to identify significant opportunities for collaboration, particularly between Southeast Asia and Europe. Through The Hive Climate AI's co-creation model, Géraldine is fostering strategic partnerships that drive sustainable economic growth while addressing climate change.
Géraldine’s strong network extends to leading European deep tech and climate investors, including Airbus Ventures, Go Capital, Eurazeo Ventures, Primo Ventures, Sarsia Ventures, Vsquared Ventures, ETF Partners, First Imagine, Positron Ventures, Deeptech XL, Set Ventures, 360 Capital Partners, Matterwave Ventures, and Capricorn Investment Group.

T. M. Ravi is Managing Director and co-founder of The Hive Global. Ravi has been a pioneer as an investor and co-creator of startups that apply AI in the enterprise.
Ravi has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur and operating executive. He has started over 25 startups including three where he was founder & CEO: Mimosa Systems, Peakstone Corporation, and Media Blitz. Mimosa was acquired by Iron Mountain and Media Blitz was acquired eventually by Computer Associates (CA) for $1.2B. Ravi was also CMO for Iron Mountain, VP of Marketing at Computer Associates (CA) and VP at Cheyenne Software. Ravi earned an MS and Ph.D. from UCLA and a Bachelors of Technology from IIT, Kanpur, India. He is on the board of Point Reyes National Seashore Association.
T.M. Ravi is actively involved in The Hive Climate AI, its operations and its Investment Committee. T.M. Ravi is located both in Silicon Valley as well as in Paris.
Syed Haizam Jamalullail is the Managing Partner of both Tuas Capital Partners and The Hive Southeast Asia. He was previously the Investment Director of KFM Advisory Sdn. Bhd. (formerly KAF Fund Management Sdn. Bhd.). His directorships in a few private companies include Segi Value Holdings Sdn. Bhd., the operator of a wholesale hypermarket chain under the brand name, “Segi Fresh,” throughout Selangor and the Greater Klang Valley and Srivijaya Sdn. Bhd., the owner of the Cold Stone Creamery F&B franchise for Malaysia. In addition, Syed Haizam is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Non-Executive Chairman of Putra Business School.
Syed Haizam had previously spent 3 years in the investment industry primarily working for F&C Investments in London as a Governance and Sustainable Investment Analyst covering the ASEAN Region. Roles involved in-depth ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and financial analysis on public companies and their sectors for F&C’s sustainable equity and debt investment funds and the engagement of multinational companies in relation to ESG issues. He was also a key member in setting up F&C’s first Shari’a fund. Syed Haizam was also attached to Naqiz & Partners for a year, a corporate and commercial legal firm in Kuala Lumpur.
Syed Haizam is collaborating with The Hive Climate AI team leveraging interactions with The Hive Southeast Asia activities, entrepreneurs and corporates network.
